Contemporary Art Experiences
for Events
About
Event Artists connects event makers with contemporary artists to create experiences for real audiences, in real time.
We work with producers, programmers, curators and organisations to deliver creative projects designed specifically for event contexts.
Our roster includes performance, installation, food and drink experiences, and decorations. We collaborate across museums, galleries, multi-arts venues and festival hubs, as well as corporate events, conferences, weddings and private celebrations.
What We Do
We collaborate with you to create experiences that are meaningful, memorable, and responsive to your audience and environment.
Our work is designed to operate within the realities of events; flexible, adaptable, and ready to respond to the live moment.
Our artists and projects are built to:
-
Adapt to changing spaces, formats and audience flow
-
Welcome audiences in at any point, without explanation
-
Work within tight timeframes and minimal infrastructure
-
Co-exist with other activity, including light and sound bleed
-
Engage confidently with live audiences and interaction
-
Operate safely within high-value or heritage environments
-
Fit within real-world public program budgets and constraints
-
Provide clear specifications and technical requirements upfront
Why Event Artists Exists
Event Artists is an initiative by Very Creative Producer (Arie Rain Glorie), built from over 15 years of experience producing and curating events across museums, public programs and festivals.
It was created in response to a clear gap: event makers need artists who understand how events actually work.
Event Artists brings together artists who can deliver within these conditions, while also supporting the development of work that thrives in them, with the added support of an experienced producer managing bookings and delivery.
Curation and producing services are also available for clients seeking deeper collaboration, from concept development through to delivery.
Our Aims
-
To make events more engaging, thoughtful and alive through contemporary art designed for real audiences, in real time.
-
To create new opportunities for artists to develop and present work within event contexts.
-
To strengthen event-making as a field of creative practice.
-
To further establish the field of event making as a distinct and rigorous practice, alongside exhibitions and theatre.
